The sheets are heated and pressed into shape in short cycles. The process can be automated, and parts can be reshaped or welded afterwards.
The matrix is a bioplastic from renewable raw materials, reinforced with natural fibres such as flax. No fossil-based epoxy resin.
No epoxy resins or hardeners in processing, and less manual lamination. We are developing the material to biodegrade at the end of its life instead of remaining as microplastic.

We already work with partners in the sports industry and are open to new collaborations, in sport and well beyond it.
The material is meant for parts that are made from glass-fibre composites today. Boards, skis, bike components, vehicle and boat interiors or moulded cases are examples, not limits.
A collaboration starts with a joint development project: we adapt material and process to your product and build the first prototypes with you.

From wind turbines to skis, fibre composites make things light and strong. Almost all of them bind glass or carbon fibres in fossil-based resins that are cured once and can never be reshaped.
The base material is developed and a patent application is filed. Our first proof of concept is a kiteboard: quarter-scale prototypes exist, the full-size board is next.
